UNIQUE PARTNERSHIP

The partnership between Agri-Cultura Network (ACN) and La Cosecha Community Supported Agriculture (LC-CSA) as unique as it is stellar in their aligned vision, collective work, many local and national partnerships, and relationship with community members.

Recognized nationally and locally as leaders in delivering fresh locally grown, nutrient-rich produce and meats to pre- and school-age children and seniors throughout New Mexico from a network of over 73 regional small-scale growers and ranchers in 14 rural and urban New Mexico counties that collectively conduct crop planning, aggregation, and distribution.

ACN’s and La Cosecha CSA’s proven expertise and year-after-year record setting success is unparallel in New Mexico and nationally. Together ACN and La Cosecha CSA engage in every aspect of the farm-to-market and farm-to-community processes, including providing joint aggregation, continuous workforce development and food safety and handling trainings, processing and packaging, ordering and managing sales and contracts, paying farmers, and making food distributions throughout New Mexico.

Securing grower and farmer livelihoods and honoring living-wages that sustain the agricultural heritage of New Mexico while supporting the ecosystem of land, water, soil restoration, and drought-tolerant crops and incorporating climate-friendly technologies.

Meeting the large-scale needs of institutional, wholesale, retail buyers and families for fresh and shelf-stable local foods.

Ensuring that families who join the seasonal community supported agriculture produce distribution program receive weekly fresh, locally grown produce, cooking and nutritional information in every harvest bag at affordable or subsidized prices.

Participating in advocacy forums and having the voices of community, growers, ranchers, and grassroots stakeholders inform decision-making tables.
